Andrew P. Lannon
Andrew P. Lannon is admitted to practice in the State of Florida; the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida; the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern and Middle Districts; and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Lannon serves in the firm's litigation department, handling all aspects of commercial litigation and appeals.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lannon was an associate in Holland & Knight LLP's Central Florida Litigation group, handling all aspects of commercial litigation and appeals to the Eleventh Circuit, the Florida Supreme Court, and the Fourth District Court of Appeal. Before working at Holland & Knight, Mr. Lannon served as a staff attorney (law clerk) to the Honorable Peggy A. Quince of the Florida Supreme Court for two years. During law school, he interned at the United States Department of Justice, Office of Legal Policy under Viet D. Dinh, Esq., assisting with the federal judicial nominations of Priscilla Owen and Charles Pickering. Also during law school, he was one of a handful of students picked from law schools across the country to participate in the United States Securities and Exchange Commission's Student Observer Program, where he worked under John Reed Stark, Esq. in the Division of Enforcement, Office of Internet Enforcement.
Mr. Lannon received his B.A. in Classics from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA in 1996 and his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 2003. In law school, he was a member of Moot Court as well as the Journal of Contemporary Health Law and Policy for which he served as the Note and Comment Editor. His comment, Let Him Die with Dignity or Hope for a Cure: The Consequences of Modern Medicine, was published in the Winter 2002 edition.
In the community, Mr. Lannon is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and is a graduate of Leadership Orlando Class 71.
Mr. Lannon and his wife, Corazon, have three children, Peter, Abigail and Briana. They live in Winter Park and attend St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church there.
